Up to eighty characters, for someone you'll never meet. It's screened for kindness before it goes anywhere.

Rest a finger on the glass. If another person is holding at this same moment, their light appears where their hand is.

Bring your two lights together, and the screen blooms.

Unfold their letter
Their line arrives as they typed it, postmarked with the date and the country it came from. Then a breath, and you go.
The quiet rules
What cannot happen here matters more than what can.
- No one can reply to you. A line arrives, and that's the end of it.
- No one ever learns your name. Not even us — there are no accounts.
- No chat, no profiles, no followers. One line, once, then you leave.
- Every line is screened before it reaches anyone. Cruelty is turned away at the door.
- If a letter still hurts, press “this didn't feel kind”. You'll never cross paths with its writer again — and they won't know.
